Hustled into contention from his wide post, the Ken McPeek trainee stalked the pace in fourth through :22.94 and :47.54 splits. Moving with purpose in between rivals straightening for home, he powered his way to the front late and held off the oncoming Stolen Base at the wire. Credibility (Nyquist) was third. Final time for the 8 ½-furlong race was 1:43.69. A winner second time out while debuting at a route at Ellis July 1, he added another win last time in the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile Sept. 6.
