Selino was an impressive winner of the Sydney Cup earlier this year and is capable of springing a surprise on any given day. However, the Melbourne Cup is a completely different beast and the Chris Waller-trained son of Champs Elysees will need to overturn a last start 11.75-length defeat to Incentivise in the Caulfield Cup. You cannot rule out any Waller runner completely in Group 1 events, but this may just be one of his biggest achievements if Selino can somehow win the Melbourne Cup.
