With form behind Muntaseera and Beau Rossa as well as a win over the smart Star Of Uma, the four-year-old son of Reward For Effort has plenty of upside. He has returned with two handy trials, and if he brings his absolute best, he should just prove too good for this lot. He will most likely be the backmarker in the field of seven, but with just 54kg on his back, we expect to see him charge home down the centre of the track and ultimately prove too hard to hold out. Next BestRace 3 – Outlaws Revenge (#7) $3.30 with Sportsbet Best Value Bet at Morphettville – Lake’s Folly In the opening leg of the quaddie, we are hoping the Michael Hickmott-trained Lake’s Folly returns to somewhere near his best. He is aided by the booking of Ben Price, whose 3kg claim gets him in with just 56.5kg. The five-year-old son of Pierro was given every chance last time out, gaining a saloon passage into the race, but could not keep up with the first two across the line. From barrier six, we are hoping Price can have him settled midfield with cover. Lake’s Folly has a decent turn of foot which should prove the difference here as he finishes over the top of his rivals.
