At 10 am Saturday the first ever Box Seat National Punting Club is officially open for business.

It’s a nationwide syndicate set up specially for New Zealand Cup day at Addington on Tuesday, November 9, where all the hard work is done for you.

People wanting to invest can put in as much or as little as they like. They then get a payout at the end of racing on Tuesday, proportionate to how the syndicate has fared.

So if the syndicate doubles its money, so do you.

Box Seat hosts Michael Guerin and Greg O’Connor will make the selections on your behalf and there will be updates before and after each race so that everyone knows exactly how they are progressing and which horses they should be cheering on right throughout the day.

People wanting to get involved can do so from 10am Saturday till 1 pm on Tuesday by going to their TAB outlet, going on-line at tab.co.nz, or using a self service terminal. It could not be simpler.

And there are many ways to make money on Tuesday.

There are 12 races in all, highlighted by the IRT New Zealand Cup at 5.50pm.

All races will have First 4s guaranteed to $20,000 if struck and there will be a $100,000 Terminating Pick Six starting at Race 7 at 3.22pm.
