The 5-2 favorite, out of 2015 Turf Sprint runner-up Lady Shipman, had most recently annexed Keeneland's GII Woodford S. Oct. 9. He crossed the line some 1 1/4 lengths to the good of local hope Lieutenant Dan (Grazen)–who chased the winner all the way around the track–while stopping the clock in :54.75. Fellow California-based runner Charmaine's Mia (The Factor) rounded out the trifecta.
