Saturday night’s G1 Topgun winner Aston Rupee is the headline act in tonight’s $25,000 winner-take-all G3 Shootout at Sandown Park.

However, The Watchdog believes dual G1 champion Tiggerlong Tonk – runner-up in the Topgun – can win consecutive Shootouts.

The unbeaten Wow She’s Fast, Aston Fastnet, Koblenz and Fernando Bluey feature in the final round of Melbourne Cup preludes, while G1 Topgun Stayers winner Gypsy Wyong is also in action this evening.

If the inside division bunch up, he may be off and gone down the back and that could be the difference.
