Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 19, 2021 Journalists Share Posted November 19, 2021 What Kilmore Races Where Kilmore Racing Club – East St, Kilmore VIC 3764 When Sunday, November 21, 2021 First Race 1:35pm AEDT Featured Race Kilmore Cup – Race 7 Watch Live Streaming Live at Sportsbet HorseBetting’s Victorian form analyst presents his best bets, quaddie numbers and odds comparison for the eight-race card on Kilmore Cup Day this Sunday afternoon. The track is rated a Soft 5, the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit, and racing is set to get underway at 1:30pm AEDT. Kilmore Cup Best Bet – Justacanta The Patrick Payne-trained Justacanta has been one of the bigger success stories of the Melbourne Spring Carnival, and we think he can round it out with a win in the Listed Kilmore Cup. This will be just his second crack at the mile, but with a Group 2 and a Listed win to his name this campaign, his confidence is at an all-time high. The eight-year-old son of Per Incanto was beaten under a length last time out in the Group 3 Chatham Stakes and looks like he will eat up every part of the 1600m. The query is he will need to lug 60kg, but with a sharp turn of foot, we expect to see Justacanta fly down the centre of the track and put them them away. Kilmore CupRace 7 – Justacanta (#1) $5 with Sportsbet Kilmore Best Bet – The Billionaire We are willing to forgive a horror run from the Anthony & Sam Freedman-trained The Billionaire on October 27 and double down on him here. Having taken ascendency at Bendigo, he was quickly put under pressure in the home straight and gave next to nothing when asked for an effort. However, his win two starts back at Morphettville showed plenty of potential, and stepping back up to the 1200m might just be the tonic he needs to get back into the winner’s stall. The son of Written Tycoon has two wins and a minor placing behind Starry Legend in three starts at 1200m, and if he is at his front-running best, it is hard to see how this lot run him down. Best BetRace 5 – The Billionaire (#6) $2.80 with Sportsbet Next Best At Kilmore – Kiss Me If You Can The Hanna Powell-trained Kiss Me If You Can will be chasing a third straight win when he steps out over 1450m. Having broken his maiden at this track and distance two runs back, the five-year-old son of O’lonhro managed to claim a second win in succession when taking out a Class 1 event at Bendigo on November 10. It is hard to knock his racing pattern, as he settles himself up on speed and keeps up a genuine gallop throughout. Whether he takes a seat just off the leaders on Sunday or opts to sit outside the pace setter, we’re confident he has turned the corner and can bring up another win at the Kilmore 1450m. Luke Nolen will need a touch of luck from barrier 10, but if he is afforded that, then Kiss Me If You Can will be every chance to win it.
