Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 19, 2021 Journalists Share Posted November 19, 2021 G2 McKenna Memorial placegetter Jarick Bale faces Auspicious Queen and promising Amnesty in a terrific race at The Meadows tonight. Pink Diamond (500m) finalist Gypsy Yankee, G1 Sandown Cup champion Zipping Rambo and dual G1 finalist Bobby The Brute also feature, while Rufiano and Bareki are aiming to secure their fourth and ninth straight wins respectively. At Geelong this evening, dual G3 finalist Keep It Black and Geelong Oaks winner Osprey Rose should provide a great clash, while impressive 29.56sec Sandown Park winner Blazing Times is expected to boost his strike rate. BLUE Geelong Race 10 Box 1 400m 8:51pmTAB fixed odds: $1.50 PlaceForm https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666539248/race/10 The Watchdog says : GYPSY YANKEE (2) returned to racing in great style at Geelong and is expected to lead throughout again. KEEP IT BLACK (1) has the class edge over his rivals and he is drawn to hold the top through the bend. MR. BLUE (1) will get plenty of cover from the wide running BRANSON BALE (2) and that should allow him to hit the scoreboard. Multi price: $4.95 $3 Win – JARICK BALE Must Watch Race Grade 5 The Meadows Race 3 Box 2 600m 7:19pm TAB fixed odds: $2.60 Win The Watchdog says : AUSPICIOUS QUEEN (1) and AMNESTY (3) should have a great battle up front and that will allow JARICK BALE (2) to take a nice sit early. If he is within two lengths as they pass the post the first time, he should prove too good in the run home. ‘Must Watch Race’ Preview : Plenty of depth for a Grade 5 and the in-form AUSPICIOUS QUEEN (1) has come up with the good draw. She’s been electric in her past two starts and she is drawn to hit the scoreboard again, however star speedster JARICK BALE (2) won’t make it easy for her. He has been costly in his past three but if he can step away, he will follow AUSPICIOUS QUEEN through and be there to pounce mid-race. AMNESTY (3) rounds out the ‘big three’. She has gone sub 34 seconds at Sandown Park twice already and although thrown in the deep end tonight, she clearly has the talent. Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666539200/race/3 The Watchdog’s selections: 2 – 1 – 3 – 5 $4 Win – RUFIANO The Meadows Race 6 Box 1 525m 8:17pmTAB fixed odds: $2.50 WinForm https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666539200/race/6 The Watchdog says : RUFIANO (1) been enormous in his past two at Sale and he is drawn to get all the breaks tonight. There is plenty of speed with USMAN BALE (2), but RUFIANO has shown a lot more early zip in his past two at Sale and he should be able to settle on the heels of ‘Usman’ as they head through the turn. He is very powerful in the run home and with an ounce of luck mid race, he should prove too good late.
