Greyhound fans are in for a treat this morning as one of the best sprinters in KOBLENZ (5) goes to work. He recently captured the Group 1 Melbourne Cup and he followed that up with a terrific third in the inaugural TAB Phoenix. He is two-of-two over this track/distance with a smart 25.12sec PB here, however, a lot has happened since the last time he raced over this track/distance. If he spears the lids today, I’m expecting a sub 24.90sec run from the champ. He is going to be unbackable odds, so it might be worthwhile anchoring him up front in your exotics ahead of his kennelmate KING OF GLORY (1) and the in-form RIO BASKIN (2).
