Allamericanlover has new challenges to face in the Banks Peninsula Summer Cup and none of them are enough to have her camp worried.

The three-year-old will be out to remain unbeaten this time in after taking on the 2810m grass track staying test at Motukarara.

Allamericanlover will see the standing start tapes for the first time at the races when she starts from her 20m handicap.

Amanda Telfer thinks the filly can take the challenge in her stride.

“I don’t think it will be a big worry for her, she has had a couple of standing start trials and she has been good.”

Allamericanlover also races on grass for the first time in Wednesday’s race and Telfer isn’t concerned about that either.

“I don’t think it will worry her, she is a pretty consistent filly, she has only been out of the money once.”

“I think it might actually be better for her legs and everything.”

The pacer comes into the Banks Peninsula Summer Cup after a powerful returning win at Addington following a freshen up.

Telfer is certain Allamericanlover will strip fitter on Wednesday which is ominous news for her rivals.

“She is definitely better for that run, I have been very happy with her since her win.”

Allamericanlover opened the $2.70 fixed odds favourite for the Banks Peninsula Summer Cup on Tuesday afternoon.

The Telfer stable line up one more horse on Wednesday in Somedreamsomewhere.

The pacer went a big race in his last start at Methven where he did plenty of work before fighting on for fifth.

“He went super last time, he keeps grinding away,” Telfer said.

“He is great from a stand and there a few scratchings inside him which should help.”

“Hopefully Tim (Williams) is on the front foot at the start and he can get handy and go a good race.”

Somedreamsomewhere opened at juicy $13 & $3.60 odds when race 10’s fixed odds market opened.

The Telfers’ two-horse Motukarara team are among a huge line up of horses the trainers line up this week.

The Stonewall trainers also start horses at Cambridge, Omakau, Alexandra Park and Tauherenikau in the coming days.
