A 1/50th share in young sire Zarak (Fr) will be offered as lot 1 in the upcoming Arqana Online January Sale. Slated for Jan. 13 from 3-5 p.m. French time, the sale also features a breeding right in Territories (Ire) (lot 2); a half-share (1/100th) in Al Wukair (Fr) (lot 3); the listed placed broodmare Becquascenthe (Fr) (Nombre Premier {GB}) (lot 4); and a trio of National Hunt horses-in-training.

His Highness The Aga Khan's Zarak was the leading first-season sire in France in 2021, and among his 18 2-year-old winners were the Group 1-placed Times Square (Fr) and Purplepay (Fr), the latter a €2-million buy in the Arqana ring who is bound for America. The son of Dubawi (Ire) and the Arc heroine Zarkava (Ire) also has Group 3 winner Lizaid (Ger). He is fully booked at €25,000 at Haras de Bonneval this term.

Territories already is the sire of G1 Prix de l'Opera heroine Rougir (Fr), who brought a sale-topping €3 million at Arqana in December. He stands at Dalham Hall Stud for £10,000 in 2022, while Al Wukair has 15 juvenile winners, so far. The Group 1 winner is priced at €8,000 at Haras de Bouquetot.

Becquascenthe, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Grande Haya (Fr) (Solid Illusion) is offered in foal to Doctor Dino (Fr).
