G2 Bendigo Cup placegetter Typhoon Sammy was scintillating at Warragul last Sunday night and he is the headline act in the second heat of the G2 SEN Track Warragul Cup this evening.

Inaugural TAB Phoenix winner Wow She’s Fast is the star attraction in the sixth and final heat.

G2 placegetter Gypsy Bun v dual G3 finalist Hebridean Black v Invictus Rising v dual G3 winner Barooga Smoke is a competitive first heat, while two-time G1 winner Qwara Bale faces in-form chasers Robbie Rotten, On The Bit and Brother Bearing in the third heat.

G1 Melbourne Cup runner-up Lala Kiwi is the standout chaser in the fourth heat, while G1 Hobart Thousand winner Aussie Secret lines up against G3 finalist Paddy Wants Pats and G1 Silver Chief placegetter Titan Blazer in the fifth heat.

TYPHOON SAMMY (6) returned to his brilliant best with a dazzling 22.10sec win here last Sunday night and he should be ready to tackle the 460m journey. He is armed with blinding pace soon after box rise, and he may be able to break them up through the bend. KINSON BALE (3) was recently placed in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup final, and he looks to be the obvious danger. However, he can be a little hit or miss early, so he can’t afford to make too many mistakes. HENNESSEY (2) is facing his toughest test to date, but he has carved out some scorching wins of late, while the ultra-consistent HAZEY ROY (4) has the speed to lead and is capable of causing an upset.
