Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 24, 2018 Journalists Share Posted July 24, 2018 Edward Daly, whose successes as a bloodstock agent included sourcing El Prado (Ire) for export to the U.S., died suddenly last weekend, according to Racing Post. Daly spent his formative years with the likes of Collinstown and Coolmore Studs in Ireland and Yarraman Park Stud in Australia, and did a stint as assistant to Neil Adam before working up to management level with Airlie Stud. Daly went out on his own as a bloodstock agent in 1990 and while sourcing El Prado was his greatest contribution to the bloodstock world he also sourced Group 1-winning fillies like Fiesolana (Ire) (Aussie Rules) and Watsdachances (Ire) (Diamond Green {Fr}) in training.
