There isn’t a lot of pace drawn inside, so if he can step on terms, he should be able to head to the back in the top two and he will be quite strong in the run home. At those odds, he is worth a nibble. $2 Place – KAHEEM BALE Must Watch Race Free For All Sandown Park Race 8 Box 2 515m 9:26pm TAB fixed odds: $4 Place (Top two finish required) The Watchdog says : KAHEEM BALE (2) takes on a gun line-up, but he showed he is back to his best with a dominant 29.58sec win here a fortnight ago and if CAROLINE (1) can hold the lead through the bend, he may get a nice run through. He does his best work in the last 200m, and he should be able to hit the scoreboard. ‘Must Watch Race’ Preview : Cracking line-up and we see the newly crowned Horsham 485m track record holder SODA TITAN (3) head back to town. He has always shown enormous potential and his box manners have continued to improve over time and that has resulted in scorching wins at Bendigo in 23.34sec and The Meadows in 29.77sec prior to his record run. He meets an elite line-up tonight, however he has slow beginners on either side, so if he can step on terms, he should assume control quickly and a 29.10sec run could be on the cards. Sandown Park specialist BAROOGA SMOKE (5) hasn’t experienced a lot of luck recently and he is a strong chance to make amends tonight. He went 5.09sec to the first marker last Thursday night before finding bother, a similar sectional tonight can see him settle in the top two and he will go to work in the middle stages. Form https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666542481/race/8 The Watchdog’s selections: 3 – 5 – 6 – 2 $5 Win – SODA SAVILLE Sandown Park Race 10 Box 8 515m 10:04pmTAB fixed odds: $3.60 WinForm https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666542481/race/10 The Watchdog says : He was a beaten favourite when resuming here last Thursday night, however he was far from disgraced. He only went 5.25sec to the first marker and was back in the pack for most of the trip before hitting the line well and nabbing third spot. He has the ability to go 5.10sec to the first marker and he can really carve out time when in the clear. From the outside draw, he should get enough room to balance up and he can head to the back in the top two and a sub 29.50sec run could be on the cards.
