Indy) lit up the tote board at 17-1 while making her dirt debut in Saturday's GII Rachel Alexandra S. Goddess of Fire (Mineshaft) was second; Awake at Midnyte (Nyquist) finished third. The race was marred when early pacesetter and Silverbulletday S. heroine La Crete (Medaglia d'Oro) was pulled up abruptly down the backstretch. Well-spotted in fourth as Hidden Connection inherited the lead, Turnerloose was under a busy ride as they approached the quarter pole. Steered out for the stretch run, Turnerloose came charging over the top to reel in Goddess of Fire by a half-length. The final time for 1 1/16 miles was 1:44.22. Turnerloose, winner of the Aristocrat Juvenile Fillies S. at Kentucky Downs Sept. 6 and a close third as the favorite in the GII JPMorgan Chase Jessamine S. at Keeneland Oct. 13, was last seen finishing 14th in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Del Mar Nov. 5.
