Mr. Audacious is one of the hottest prospects in the state after two near track record runs and he is contesting a Mixed 6/7 395m race at Traralgon this evening.

Callum Ari, Lakeview Bonnie and Coolant should provide a great battle in a Mixed 4/5 395m event, while G1 Silver Chief placegetter Papi Go Fast is favoured to boost his strike rate in a Grade 5 350m race.

In-form chasers Zealous Alex and Zipping Scorcher clash at Ballarat tonight in a Mixed 4/5 450m race, while Geelong Oaks winner Osprey Rose faces Queen Amarok, Brewski Bruce and Alfie Alligator in a 450m Grade 5 final.

MR. AUDACIOUS (4) is one of the hottest prospects in the state and he is expected to light up the clock tonight. He has only had the two starts but they have resulted in two spectacular wins here in 21.53sec and 21.55sec. Those two runs are only a tick off the current track record which is held by superstar TYPHOON SAMMY. He has a few slow beginners drawn on his outside tonight, so if he does everything right early, he should assume control quickly and he could give the track record a nudge. He is yet to go past 395m, however I think he will run a strong 500m and he is one to watch when he gets to town.
