After breaking the 485m track record in his last visit to Horsham, Presidents Cup winner Soda Titan lines up against G1 National Derby finalist Boston Garden in the sixth heat of the G2 Horsham Cup this afternoon.

Zivon Bale, G1 National Derby finalist Zara’s Ivan, dual G2 runner-up Lots Of Chatter and G2 Launceston Cup winner Hill Top Jack contest the first heat, while G2 Traralgon Cup winner Typhoon Sammy stands out in the second heat.

In-form chasers Americano Miss and Decimate face multiple Group finalist Hebridean Black in the third heat, while dual G1 winner Qwara Bale features in the fourth heat.

G1 Adelaide Cup winner Do It clashes with Old News, G1 Silver Chief finalist Xavien Bale and Ha Ha Magoo (won four straight) in the fifth heat.

SODA TITAN (1) recently broke the track record here with a breathtaking 26.66sec victory over the brilliant ASTON TITAN and he is drawn to take a power of beating again. There isn’t a lot of genuine early speed in this event, so with a clean getaway, he should be able to navigate the bend in the top two and they will have a hard time holding him out. CRACKERJACK KEG (3) is an interesting runner. He can be a tad hard to follow at times, but he has elite talent and if he gets a look at them mid race, he could cause an upset. BOSTON GARDEN (4) has drawn poorly again, and he will need to begin well to get into contention.
