The Watchdog says : ARIARNE BALE (2) finds herself in a race with a number of runners who are suspect over this journey, so if she can get a nice run through mid-race, she should hit the scoreboard. FABRIOLA ZERO (3) is another who should get a nice rails run at the first bend and he returned to form with a great win here last start. STUDLEY (1) should be leading them up and he is racing with extreme confidence, so a top-two finish does look likely.

With IMMUNITY (5) expected to carve across early, he should get a nice run into the bend and get every chance to lead as they head to the back straight.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :

Cracking line-up and Group 1 Melbourne Cup runner-up LALA KIWI (4) heads the betting. She was a dynamic 29.61sec heat winner and a repeat of that will see her go close to scoring, however with the keen-railing IMMUNITY (5) on her outside, she may get crowded in the initial stages. Group 1 Silver Chief winner ZIPPY TESLA (3) looks the best placed runner in the event. I’m expecting the two inside runners to hold a forward spot through the bend, and he should get a nice run through as they head to the back. He does his best work in the closing 200m and if he is close enough mid-race, he will get his chance. PADDY WANTS PATS (6) is racing with confidence and he is one of the on-speed runners and a clean getaway should see him hit the scoreboard. DAPH’S ASCEND (2) and TITAN BLAZER (8) are both more than capable of winning.
