Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted February 26, 2022 Journalists Posted February 26, 2022 Japan made it two-for-two in the first two contests on the Saudi Cup card with the filly Songline (Jpn) (Kizuna {Jpn}) slicing through the pack from far back to take the G3 1351 Turf Sprint in a thrilling finish from America's Casa Creed (Jimmy Creed) and Britain's Happy Romance (Ire) (Dandy Man {Ire}). Godolphin's favoured Naval Crown (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) set the pace while racing a bit keenly and came up empty in the lane, eventually fading to finish in the second half of the pack. Christophe Lemaire rode both Songline and Authority, winner of the G3 Neom Turf Cup a race earlier.
