In-form chasers Zipping Scorcher (won 10 from 17) and Action Girl (won 10 from 12) headline a 410m Grade 5 final at Horsham this afternoon, but Run Machine – victorious in two of his last three races – is eyeing an upset win.

The promising Nyah Nyah Flyer features in a 485m Restricted Win heat, while Robin’s Choice, Russian Berry, Hatters Lane and Parlo Bale are contesting a 410m Free For All.

Pink Diamond 425m finalist Throw Caution stands out in a Grade 5 300m race at Healesville today, while Saturday night winner Blue Spot and Senor Senor duel in a 300m Free For All.

ACTION GIRL (5) has won ten of 12 and she went through the first marker in a blistering 10.08sec before stopping the clock in a brilliant 22.92sec in her heat win. The box draw hasn’t done her any favours but if she can carve out something similar to her heat run, they will have a hard time holding her out. ZIPPING SCORCHER (4) has won ten of 17 and he is armed with a breathtaking turn of foot once balanced. He went a little slower in his heat win, however he has the ability to push the 23-second barrier, so if the favourite happens to miss the kick, he will be there to capitalise. BLAZING NENNA (1) is back in form, while talented types WATCH THE CLOCK (2), RUN MACHINE (6) and BEATRIX BALE (8) all deserve a mention.
