Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted March 9, 2022 Journalists Share Posted March 9, 2022 On Friday, March 11 at 8.30am, GRV Chair Peita Duncan will lead an industry team comprising Louise Martin (GRV), Greg Davies (GCV), Cynthia O’Brien(Healesville Manager) & Matt Lanigan (trainer) on a morning cruise down the Yarra River. The team will remain on the cruise until they have raised $5,000 from the Victorian greyhound industry. Once that figure has been raised, they will disembark – happy. But the end of the cruise does not mean the end of the fundraising. Let’s not stop at $5,000, let’s aim for $10,000 or $15,000 or more. Your donation, unless you wish to remain anonymous, will be recognised by Neil Mitchell on his top-rating program on the day from 8.30am. The greyhound racing community is a united one and always shows great generosity and rallies to support important causes such as the Good Friday Appeal. GRV welcomes any contribution, no matter the amount, you can make for this annual fundraiser. This event launches a series of Good Friday Appeal fundraising initiatives by GRV which will be celebrated in the lead-up to and throughout GRV’s three Good Friday meetings at Healesville, Traralgon and Geelong on April 15,2022.
