Forbidden Love gets her chance at back-to-back Group 1 wins with money coming for Richard & Michael Freedman’s in-form mare ahead of Saturday’s Group 1 $1 million The Agency George Ryder Stakes (1500m).

One of the key support acts on a bumper Golden Slipper Day card at Rosehill Gardens, the George Ryder Stakes field is down to 11 with Randwick Guineas winner Converge (10) out in favour of a rematch with Anamoe in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m) one race earlier.

The latest George Ryder Stakes odds at Ladbrokes.com.au have All Too Hard four-year-old Forbidden Love at $3.60 and firming drawn well in barrier two for jockey Hugh Bowman.

She has won her past two starts on Heavy going doing the Guy Walter – Canterbury Stakes double at Randwick and looks hard to beat again going up to 1500m.

Her impressive Group 1 Canterbury win over 1300m was by 1.75 lengths and from that favourable gate, she is well-positioned to complete the hat-trick.

Annabel Neasham saddles-up the $4 danger in Mo’unga, winner of the Rosehill Guineas on this day last Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Tommy Berry comes aboard the now four-year-old son of Savabeel second-up for the horse’s Sydney return.

Fresh, Mo’unga was far from disgraced when second to Sierra Sue in Caulfield’s Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1500m) and he strips fitter for Saturday looking to retain his undefeated record at Rosehill.

Despite a disappointing eighth to Verry Elleegant in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) on a mud track last time out, the James Cummings-trained Colette is being kept safe in the George Ryder markets at $6.

Third-up, the five-year-old daughter of Hallowed Crown is after her first win since the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes (1600m) over Mystic Journey at Flemington last Derby Day.

Ace hoop James McDonald rides her from a favourable barrier three draw and she’s won third-up previously.

In an open race a further two weight-for-age hopefuls are under $10 for the win with the rails-drawn Epsom Handicap winner Private Eye ($6.50) coming off a third in the Canterbury for Joe Pride and the Hawkes Racing-trained market mover Hilal.

Consistent Fastnet Rock colt Hilal has been heavily backed in from $18 to $9.50 to win fourth-up off a nice lead-up campaign so far.

Winner of Randwick’s million-dollar Bondi Stakes over a mile at the end of last prep, his latest run was a third in the Randwick Guineas and he has claims for another top three run here.

The 2022 George Ryder Stakes is scheduled as Race 7 at 4:00pm (AEDT) on Saturday’s 10-race card.
