The Watchdog says : KEPAL (8) – victorious in three straight races and seven of his last eight starts – should make light work of this line-up, while either MARKET LEGEND (1) and BLUE TICK FERN (4) can land in second and fill the quinella spot. LEMBOR (7) is suitably drawn out wide and he could sneak into third spot.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview :

KEPAL (8) is one of the state’s best provincial speedsters and he returns to one of his favourite tracks. He has won five-of-six over this track/distance and with a clear run early, he could give the track record (21.30sec) a nudge. There isn’t a whole lot of early speed engaged, so he should get a cheap lead and with a clear passage, he will make light work of this line-up. BLUE TICK FERN (4) was a strong 23.30sec Horsham winner two runs back and the smaller line-up will suit her tonight. With an even getaway, she should be able to settle in the top three and work into the quinella spot as they near the post. MARKET LEGEND (1) rounds out the chances. He has a great record here and he is very reliable early.
