Sent off at 6-1, Interstatedaydream (Classic Empire) shadowed 11-1 chance Beguine (Gun Runner) through :23.34 and :46.65 splits as favored Adare Manor tracked in third. Inching closer to her front-running rival and drawing even turning for home, she spurted clear despite drifting slightly outward but kept on late to hold off Adare Manor (Uncle Mo) by 1 1 /4 lengths. The filly finished third in the Apr. 8 GI Ashland S. at Keeneland in her latest start. The victory was the second stakes win for jockey Florent Geroux, who also took the GIII Allaire Dupont Distaff S. with Super Quick earlier on the card. Lifetime Record: 5-3-1-1, $351,225.
