It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Hawkesbury Race Club, with yet another meeting scheduled for the New South Wales track this Tuesday afternoon. HorseBetting’s NSW racing analyst provides you with his best bets, value bet and quaddie numbers for the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 12:45pm AEST. The track is rated a Soft 7, while the rail is out 3m from the 1100m to the 450m and true for the remainder of the course.

Best Bet at Hawkesbury – Tavi L’amour

We made Tavi L’amour our best bet on Thursday’s Hawkesbury program, but connections opted to scratch the three-year-old filly and save her for Tuesday. The daughter of Tavistock was quite good when running second to the talented Chilko Lake at Warwick Farm on April 18, with that runner coming out and winning again, franking the form. Drawn beautifully in barrier three, Tommy Berry will get the red-hot favourite with the online bookmakers in a lovely spot and she should be too good for her rivals, breaking her maiden at start five.

Next Best at Hawkesbury – I’m Not Slew

I’m Not Slew brings the right form to be more than competitive in this 1000m Benchmark 64 on Tuesday, as she comes out of a Highway at this track on April 30. The filly by Sooboog ran second in a Gosford maiden in October before winning her next two starts at Scone and Wyong respectively, so there is little wonder that she started close to favourite in her city debut. Although failing last start, we are happy to put it down to the very heavy track, so we are happy to give her another chance. Having drawn favourably, Mitchell Bell will be able to find the front on the three-year-old and she should be able to lead all of the way.

Best Value at Hawkesbury – Tick Tock Boom

Former Queensland galloper Tick Tock Boom has been adequate in his three New South Wales runs, finishing in the minor placings each time. Now with Annabel Neasham, the four-year-old gelding looks well placed on Tuesday to break through for the new stable, in what is a very winnable Class 1 over 1300m. Although the son of Spirit Of Boom will have to carry the top weight of 60kg, we are confident that he brings superior form to the races to justify the number one saddlecloth. On a drier track, Shaun Guymer and Tick Tock Boom can be the first pairing past the post. The $9 with Palmerbet seems more than generous.
