Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted May 22, 2022 Journalists Share Posted May 22, 2022 What Mornington Races Where Mornington Racecourse – 320 Racecourse Rd, Mornington, VIC, 3931 When Tuesday, May 24, 2022 First Race 1pm AEST Visit Ladbrokes Mornington Racecourse is set to host a competitive eight-race card on Tuesday afternoon and Horsebetting’s Victorian form expert is confident he can steer you into a few mid-week winners. We are set to be racing on a Soft 5, with the rail out 8m the entire circuit, suggesting it may dividends to be up on speed throughout the day. Racing is set to commence at 1pm AEST. Best Bet at Mornington – Endlessly The Hawkes team send four-year-old mare Endlessly to the Mornington 1200m and may not ever get a better chance to break her maiden then what she does on Tuesday. The Sebring mare has finished second in five of her six career starts and she is well overdue her maiden success. Having done most of her racing in town, the brown mare will no doubt appreciate stepping back into a country maiden where she looks simply put, perfectly placed. Jye McNeil heads to Mornington for just the one ride in what is seemingly a major push from the stable. From barrier six, looking for the Melbourne Cup-winning hoop to take up the running and give nothing else a chance. Despite being $1.80 with online bookmakers, she looks to be over the odds. A true moral in our eyes. Best Bet Race 3 – #2 Endlessly (6) 4yo Mare | T: Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes | J: Jye McNeil (58kg) $1.80 with Unibet Next Best at Mornington – For Real Life In the second leg of the quaddie, we are anticipating the Leon & Troy Corstens-trained For Real Life returns with another first-up victory. Having gone down by a nostril to Rose Quartz last campaign, a horse who has gone on to compete and win in nice races at Flemington, this three-year-old filly looks to have a bit of untapped ability behind her. It is hard to knock her racing pattern, considering she has nearly always shown clean barrier manners and looks to settle up on speed. There is little doubt that this BM64 is an easier assignment than what she was use to during the summer months and if she is anywhere near her best, For Real Life is going to take some gunning down. From barrier six, look for Matt Cartwright to have her settled outside the leader or in the one-one at worst. If either of these scenarios happen, we expect this filly will have a touch of class on her rivals. The $2.50 is an appealing price with online betting sites. Next Best Race 6 – #9 For Real Life (6) 3yo Filly | T: Leon & Troy Corstens | J: Matthew Cartwright (57.5kg) $2.50 with Palmerbet Best Value at Mornington – Kaleidoscope Eyes The Danny O’Brien-trained Kaleidoscope Eyes is a filly who has always shown plenty of potential but considering a poor first-up run at Bendigo, we’re getting a nice price about her on Tuesday. The three-year-old filly wasn’t beaten too far in the spring by the smart Xtra Gear and went within a nostril of defeating Northern Melody at Kyneton on September 21. If she produces anything near those results on Tuesday, she is in this maiden event right up to her neck. From barrier eight, Daniel Moor will look to have her settled midfield with cover and if afforded that luxury, she should be able to peel out on the home turn and ultimately prove too hard to hold out. The $10 on offer with Neds is a ridiculous price in our opinion. Best Value Race 2 – #9 Kaleidoscope Eyes (8) 3yo Filly | T: Danny O’Brien | J: Daniel Moor (56kg) $10 with Neds Tuesday quaddie tips for Mornington Mornington quadrella selections Tuesday, May 24, 2022 1-2-3-4 3-9 1-2-4 1-2-9-12 Investment: $96 for 100% More horse racing tips View the full article
