RAPAKI ROCKS (3) was enormous in the Group 1 Harrison-Dawson Final and he will be suited by the match race format. FRANCIS BENALI (1) has missed the kick in his past two, however he timed the start perfectly from this draw when scoring here on debut, so a similar getaway tonight can see him settle in the top three and then prove too strong late. BEDROCK FRED (2) has been huge in his two runs here of late and he appears to be very well graded tonight. If he can avoid early bother, he should prove too strong in the closing stages. Multi price: $4.82 $3 Win – BIG OPAL ROCKS Must Watch Race Fourth match race of Group 3 Bill Collins Speed Star Sandown Park Race 4 Box 1 515m 6:42pm TAB fixed odds: $3.80 Win The Watchdog says : If Group 1 and TAB Phoenix champion WOW SHE’S FAST (3) repeats her run from last Thursday night, she probably wins. However, I still firmly believe that BIG OPAL ROCKS (1) has the ability to run sub 28.90sec when given clear running and with that being the case, $3.80 is too hard to ignore. ‘Must Watch Race’ Preview : WOW SHE’S FAST (3) was simply phenomenal when capturing her first Group 1 victory here last Thursday night and she topped the million-dollar mark in the process. After going through the first marker in a dynamic 5.03sec, she gave the track record (28.79sec) a serious nudge when stopping the clock in a breathtaking 28.82sec. If she reproduces a similar performance tonight, she probably wins, however I think BIG OPAL ROCKS (1) would have gone 28.90sec or even faster last Thursday night and from the ‘red’, he appears to be well over the odds. He carved out a scorching 29.02sec under race conditions here back in March and he obliterated a class line-up on that occasion. This is easily the most exciting match up we have seen since the inception of the Speed Star concept, and it will be on from the outset.
