KANJI EXILED (3) has turned in some stellar performances in town and looks suited to this track/distance. THANK YOU JILL (3) has good early burn and if she can repeat the performance which saw her score here in 25.87sec, she will prove hard to reel in again. Multi price: $3.45 $2 Win – BLACK SAIL Must Watch Race Mixed Grade 4/5 Traralgon Race 6 Box 3 450m 8:34pm TAB fixed odds: $3.60 Win The Watchdog says : BLACK SAIL (3) – the Traralgon 500m track record holder and winner of four races from eight starts – showed enormous potential when last in work and he will be primed for a bold showing fresh. If he can find the rail early, he will get a nice run through mid-race and he will prove very hard to hold out. ‘Must Watch Race’ Preview : The resuming BLACK SAIL (3) turned in some brilliant performances here and at Sandown Park in his first preparation and he appears to be the real deal. This isn’t an easy race, but if he steps well, he should find the rail soon after box rise, and he will be very strong in the run home. WHISTLING BULLET (1) is as consistent as they come, and she is drawn to lead for a long way. She has quick wins here over 395m and 500m and this trip should be her ideal distance range, so if BLACK SAIL finds bother, she may be off and gone with the prize. SHIMA PUNGA (8) can be hit or miss early, and he is lacking confidence, however he has a serious motor when at his best and he should get plenty of room to balance up and put himself into contention.
