Saturday's G1 Cazoo Derby In Memory of Lester Piggott was graced with a performance to mark the special edition as Saeed Suhail's TDN Rising Star Desert Crown (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}) proved a class apart to provide Sir Michael Stoute with a sixth Blue Riband. Always cruising under a cool Richard Kingscote in mid-division staying wide out of trouble, the 5-2 favourite sprinted to the lead two out and was unextended to score by 2 1/2 lengths from the 150-1 shot Hoo Ya Mal (GB) (Territories {Ire}), with the unlucky-in-running Westover (GB) (Frankel {GB}) storming home to be a head back in third.
