The filly, having her second start of the season for trainer Karl Burke, soon led from the barriers under jockey Sam James, she was briefly challenged a furlong out but went clear to win by two lengths for owner Melba Bryce. They are out of the Stakes-placed mare, Wake Up Call, herself a half-sister to UAE Oaks winner Tamarillo. Ribchester, a two-time European Champion miler and Ascot’s straight mile record-holder, adds Snooze n You Lose to his list of stakes winners which include Ruthin and Flaming Rib.
