Saturday afternoon and, once tipped out a furlong from home, ran down an alibi-free favorite Arrest Me Red (Pioneerof the Nile) to score at 4-1. Settled about midfield as 14-1 True Valour (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) set a reasonable tempo in advance of a hard-held Arrest Me Red, Casa Creed remained hard against the hedge as they raced into the final quarter mile. Ridden for luck in the stretch, he maintained rail position, was steered out into the three path at the eighth pole and closed powerfully, particularly after switching his leads, to be along in time. True Valour held nicely for third. With the victory, Casa Creed is guaranteed a fees-paid berth into this year's GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Keeneland Nov. 5.
