In the USA - the home of health & safety and where anyone will sue for anything - they allow every owner , sponsor plus extras have photos with there pride & joy .

But not Addington where everyone is in a cage !

just crap about having photos taken on platform at addington and most owners have been around horses for years next time I have a winner there I will not be standing on the bloody thing haha

I totally agree - I will not go down the shoot - I will have a drink but no birdcage .

its bit sad when pay good money to get a horse trained and cannot get a good photo with your horse

Hats off to those brave souls in the photo risking near certain death to have their photo taken with their horse lol.

In 40 years of following racing I have never heard of anyone being injured having their photo taken in the birdcage.  Talk about solving a problem that doesn't exist.

More chance being injured driving to the race meeting
