Putting her most recent disappointment when seventh in the G2 Duchess of Cambridge S. behind her, Main Edition (Ire) (Zoffany {Ire}) returned to winning ways by leading at every step of Newmarket’s G3 german-thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera S. Sent off the 7-4 favourite carrying a three-pound penalty as a result of her win in the June 22 G3 Albany S. at Royal Ascot, Saif Ali’s bay was always travelling best under P J McDonald and gave generously on her first try over the seventh furlong to beat the Albany runner-up La Pelosa (Ire) (Dandy Man {GB}) by 1 1/4 lengths.
