Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted August 15, 2018 Journalists Share Posted August 15, 2018 Fans at Saratoga Race Course are invited to some see the new Triple Crown Trophy designed by sculptor Robert Santo on Lustgarten Foundation Day at Saratoga Race Course Saturday, Aug. 8. Fans may take photos with the trophy at the Community Outreach Booth from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a suggested $5 donation to the Lustgarten Foundation, which funds pancreatic cancer research. Fans who share their photos on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtags #TCTrophy and #Saratoga will be entered to win one of four 2018 premium Saratoga seat giveaways. The annual Lustgarten Foundation Day was started to honor longtime New York circuit trainer Dominic Galluscio, who lost a brief battle with pancreatic cancer in 2014. Lustgarten Day will also feature an autograph signing ($10 suggested donation) with leading Saratoga trainers, including Bill Mott, Shug McGaughey, Todd Pletcher and Chad Brown, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. near the paddock mutuel building.
