Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 26, 2022 Journalists Share Posted July 26, 2022 What Wyong Races Where Wyong Race Club – 71-73 Howarth St, Wyong NSW 2259 When Thursday, July 28, 2022 First Race 12:20pm AEST Visit Ladbrokes HorseBetting’s New South Wales racing analyst provides his best bets and quaddie selections for the eight-race program scheduled for Wyong on Thursday. The track is rated a Heavy 9, and the rail is out 4m from the 1350m to the 1000m before going into the 1m position for the remainder of the course. The first race of the afternoon is scheduled for 12:20pm AEST. Best Bet at Wyong – Denetta Three-year-old filly Denetta is searching for her fourth-straight victory on Thursday when she lines up in a Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1350m. The Damien Lane-trained galloper has been terrific in her past three outings, knuckling down to the task late to get her head down when it counts, so we know she has those vital winning qualities. This is tougher, going from Muswellbrook to Wyong, but she should be advantaged by the 1kg drop in weight after Patrick Scorse’s 3kg claim, while barrier 14 will suit her get-back racing pattern. Best Bet Race 6 – #5 Denetta (14) 3yo Filly | T: Damien Lane | J: Patrick Scorse (a3)(60kg) $15 with Ladbrokes Next Best at Wyong – Siyata John O’Shea and William Pike combine in the fifth with former English mare Siyata. The four-year-old by Siyouni has had three Australian starts, with her best result being a second at this track two starts ago. Following that run, O’Shea took Siyata to the Kensington track, where she ran fourth behind Billiondollarbaby and went down by only a length. From barrier two, Pike will have Siyata in a lovely spot, just stalking the leaders, before working his way into the clear at the business end. Next Best Race 5 – #1 Siyata (2) 4yo Mare | T: John O’Shea | J: William Pike (59kg) $4 with Bet365 Wyong Value Bet – Nosey Parker The $7 on offer with online bookmakers isn’t the greatest ‘value’ going around, but it is still an each-way price and we are happy to step in. Nosey Parker went well on debut at Scone, finishing fourth behind Renaissance Woman and Flashing Steel, with the latter having form around Best Of Bordeaux at Group level. The son of Choisir got back that day and hit the line nicely on a Heavy 9 track, so we expect him to appreciate the heavy conditions on Thursday, while barrier eight gives him plenty of options under William Pike. He won’t be a maiden for long. Best Value Race 3 – #3 Nosey Parker (8) 2yo Gelding | T: Paul Perry | J: William Pike (58.5kg) $7 with Neds Thursday quaddie tips for Wyong Wyong quadrella selections Thursday, July 28, 2022 1-2-5-6 4-11-14 1-2-3-6-8 2-3-6-9 Investment: $240 for 100% More horse racing tips View the full article
