Eight races will be run and won at Wyong on Tuesday afternoon, and HorseBetting’s New South Wales form analyst has found you a couple of winners. The track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is out 4m for the entire course. Our best bet comes up later on in the program, with the Waterhouse & Bott-trained filly looking to get her maiden out of the way before bigger and better targets await this spring. The meeting is set to start at 12:35pm AEST.

Best Bet at Wyong – Pantonario

This is a really competitive Fillies & Mares’ maiden over 1100m, with talented three-year-olds Miss Faberge and Pantonario going head-to-head. We are with the latter from the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott stable. In four starts, the daughter of Not a Single Doubt has finished third three times and fourth on the other occasion, with those runs coming behind Coolangatta, Fireburn, Queen Of The Ball and Paris Dior. Both of this gallopers barrier trials have been sharp, winning her most recent by almost a length over 1050m at Randwick on August 2. She will look for the front under Tim Clark and take plenty of beating. While we do think she will win, a saver on Miss Faberge wouldn’t be the worst bet, because we cannot see anything else winning the race.

Best Bet

Race 6 – Silk #8 Pantonario (8)

3yo Filly | T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott | J: Tim Clark (55.5kg)

$2.05 with Ladbrokes

Next Best at Wyong – Fire And Ice

Fire And Ice was ultra-impressive first-up at this track and distance, leading all of the way to win by over four lengths. The Mark Minervini-trained colt was an acceptor on Saturday at Rosehill Gardens in The Rosebud, but connections opted to wait for this much easier assignment. From barrier four, Hugh Bowman is going to take the son of Hellbent straight to the front, which is going to give him every chance of winning. He was plain Jane last start at Rosehill tailing off, but we are happy to say he was outclassed, especially on the Heavy 8. Back on top of the ground, he’s the one they have to beat.

Next Best

Race 8 – Silk #3 Fire And Ice (4)

3yo Colt | T: Mark Minervini | J: Hugh Bowman (58.5kg)

$6.50 with Palmerbet

Best Value Bet at Wyong – Overthrow

This is a competitive Colts, Geldings & Entires Maiden, but the recent barrier trial of Overthrow makes us want to be with him. Although Narito has also looked good in the trials and gets James McDonald in the saddle, we thought the $7.50 available with online bookmakers for Overthrow was far more appealing. The Annabel Neasham-trained three-year-old has won his past two Warwick Farm trials comfortably, with his most recent by seven lengths. The son of Russian Revolution has had three trials ahead of his debut, so he should be well educated and ready to run a race. He should lead from barrier three under Chad Schofield and be the horse to run down.

Best Value

Race 5 – Silk #6 Overthrow (3)

3yo Gelding | T: Annabel Neasham | J: Chad Schofield (56.5kg)

$7.50 with Neds
