Saddled with a penalty for her success in Goodwood's G2 Qatar Lillie Langtry S., the Ecurie des Monceaux-bred 4-year-old was still hot property at 3-5 and set off in a close second behind compatriot Glenartney (GB) (Le Havre {Ire}) throughout the early stages. Having to work harder than those odds suggested to get to the front inside the final furlong, the homebred proved resolute for Tom Marquand to score by 3/4 of a length from Love Child (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), who denied the long-time leader the runner-up spot by a short head.
