Last-out Woodbine Oaks romper MOIRA (f, 3, Ghostzapper–Devine Aida, by Unbridled's Song) looked briefly in trouble on the turn for home, but when she hit her best gear it was quickly over, as the 9-5 favorite continued a tradition of fillies annexing the first leg of Canada's Triple Crown Sunday. The $150,000 KEESEP yearling ran up the score to seven lengths in the stretch while geared down, and stopped the clock in a synthetic track record of 2:01.48 for 1 1/4 miles. Mark Casse-trained longshots Hall of Dreams (Lemon Drop Kid) and Sir for Sure (Sligo Bay {Ire}), second and first in the Plate Trial, spiced up the exactor and triactor, respectively.
