Indy), claimed for $80,000 off of trainer Mike Maker when third in a Churchill optional claimer in May, flew home late from out of the clouds to notch a 20-1 upset in Monday's $750,000 GIII Dueling Grounds Derby at Kentucky Downs. Already a winner of the $200,000 Audubon S. for these connections back under the TwinSpires June 4, the bay crossed the line some four or five lengths to the good of Grand Sonata (Medaglia d'Oro), while stopping the clock in 2:15.41.
