Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 2, 2022 Journalists Share Posted November 2, 2022 What Hawkesbury Races Where Hawkesbury Race Club – 1 Racecourse Road, Clarendon NSW 2756 When Thursday, November 3, 2022 First Race 12:55pm AEDT Visit Ladbrokes It is Ladies Day at Hawkesbury Race Club on Thursday afternoon with a nine-race card to dive into. We should be in for a perfect day of racing on the weather map, with plenty of clear skies predicted for race-day. The Ladies Day Cup features on the Good 4 surface, while the rail sits out +3m between the 1100m-450m markers and true positioning the remainder. We are set to get underway at 12:55pm AEDT. Ladies Day Cup: Kirwan’s Lane We’ve got to be with race favourite Kirwan’s Lane for the feature Ladies Day Cup on Thursday afternoon. He’s third-up this preparation and looks set to peak in this 1600m contest, despite the top weight and 59kg for his trouble, Kirwan’s Lane has the superior form references to suggest he should be more than competitive in this Listed grade race. His second-up performance behind Cisco Bay at Randwick on October 15 had plenty of merit, only beaten by 3.2 lengths, Cisco Bay then proceeded to run an enormous second placing in the Big Dance on Tuesday. Kirwan’s Lane will appreciate getting back on top of the ground with a Good 4 likely and with Tom Sherry getting back on board with a terrific record of six starts for three wins and two more minor placings to his name, Kirwan’s Lane looks a best bet type for Ladies Day and should win the cup. Ladies Day Cup Race 8 – #1 Kirwan’s Lane (5) 6yo Gelding | T: John O’Shea | J: Tom Sherry (59kg) $2.60 with Bet365 Best Bet at Hawkesbury: Jamesonheart We wait for the lucky last to find our best bet in the form of the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Jamesonheart. This gelding by Deep Field looks to be going very well for the camp after winning stylishly first-up at Goulburn on October 4 by 0.4 lengths, he was back in the field and hit the line with real vigour to put them away and looks to find a similar contest on Thursday afternoon. His win came at BM66 at Goulburn, and he looks to go back to this BM64 race to get his back-to-back wins, even with the 61kgs on his back Jamesonheart looks a great bet in this company. Jason Collett will find a mid-field sit from the positive barrier draw before storming over the top late to get his third career win. Best Bet Race 9 – #3 Jamesonheart (4) 4yo Gelding | T: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace | J: Jason Collett (61kg) $6.50 with Bet365 Next Best at Hawkesbury: Rosie Impact Rosie Impact looks a great chance in the staying contest of the card in race four over the 2100m in Class 4 company. She looks ready to win after just getting beaten out by 0.5 lengths third-up at Gosford on October 21, she found the line very strongly that day after sitting at the tail of the field with no speed on, she was good enough to get within a half of her opposition that day. She steps up in trip to the 2100m and finds a firm deck for the first time in what seems like forever, Rosie Impact should be able to show the best of her three-year-old form on Thursday afternoon. Look for Adkins to get the gun run on this mare by Real Impact before steering her into the clear late. She should get her chance, and with clear running looks the one to beat. Next Best Race 4 – #8 Rosie Impact (4) 4yo Mare | T: Richard & Will Freedman | J: Andrew Adkins (55kg) $7 with Bet365 Thursday quaddie tips for Hawkesbury races Hawkesbury quadrella selections Thursday, November 3, 2022 1-4-7-8-10 1-2-3-7-10 1 1-2-3-11 Investment: $100 for 100% More horse racing tips View the full article
