The much-hyped Flightline (c, 4, Tapit–Feathered, by Indian Charlie) went off at 2-5 Saturday and looked the part as he drew off to an imposing 7 3/4-length victory in the GI Longines Breeders' Cup Classic at Keeneland. Undefeated in five prior starts, the bay was content to stalk pacesetter Life Is Good (Into Mischief) through brisk opening fractions. However, once in the stretch, he exploded past his rival and cruised home a much-the-best winner over closing 26-1 longshot Olympiad (Speightstown) with Taiba (Gun Runner) third. Lifetime Record: 6-6-0-0, $4,994,800. O-Hronis Racing, Summer Wind Equine, West Point Tbreds et al. B-Summer Wind Equine (KY). T-John Sadler.
