Defunded (g, 4, Dialed In–Wind Caper, by Touch Gold), bet down to 3-5 favoritism and coming in off his victory in the GI Awesome Again, missed the break but it made little difference in the end as the Baffert runner inhaled early pacesetter Go Joe Won (Protonico) in the stretch and kicked on to an open length victory to take his second graded stakes win. Stablemate Azul Coast (Super Saver) came on late to grab second. The final time was 1:50.12. O-Pegram & Watson & Weitman; B-Athens Woods LLC (Ky); T-Bob Baffert. ($210,000 Ylg '19 KEESEP)
