Speaking Scout (g, 3, Mr Speaker–Miss Scout, by Pleasant Tap) came from the clouds in deep stretch to nab 33-1 longshot Spycatcher (Noble Mission {GB) on the wire and earn his first Grade I black-type for Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners in the GI Hollywood Derby. The 9-5 favorite Wit (Practical Joke) closed fast to get third. The final time was 1:49.34 O-Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, B-Mike Abraham (KY), T-Graham Motion.
