Jason Servis has been granted a change-of-plea hearing, which will be held Friday at 11 a.m., in which he is expected to plead guilty for his role in the highly publicized racehorse doping scandal.
Originally indicted in March of 2020, Servis represents the last domino to fall in the doping scandal that also involved trainer Jorge Navarro and sent shockwaves through the industry. Servis had been charged with three felony drug misbranding and a charge of fraud conspiracy charges and faced. His trial had been set to begin Jan. 9.
