Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted December 19, 2022 Journalists Share Posted December 19, 2022 What Warwick Farm Races Where Warwick Farm Racecourse – Governor Macquarie Dr, Warwick Farm NSW 2170 When Wednesday, December 21, 2022 First Race 2:20pm AEDT Visit Ladbrokes NSW racing heads back to Warwick Farm Racecourse on Wednesday afternoon for a competitive seven-race program. The rail moves out +5m from the 1000m marker to winning post and resides in the +3m the remainder of the circuit. It should be picturesque conditions for race-day with a fine forecast predicted throughout the week and a Good 4 track expected when racing gets underway at 2:20pm AEDT. Best Bet at Warwick Farm: Flying Trapeze Flying Trapeze looks to have a very strong chance of breaking his maiden status in this 1000m scamper for the two-year-old’s in the opener at Warwick Farm. His two career starts have had excuses, in particular his effort 46-days ago at Rosehill on November 5 when missing the start completely in the Golden Gift. He was last around the turn on that occasion and was enormous from the back of the field running a quick closing sectional against what looks to have been a strong form reference for the early stage two-year-old’s, with Barber and Infatuation well around the futures markets for the 2023 Golden Slipper. This son of Trapeze Artist has trialled outstanding since that performance and looks to have found a manageable task here after running into some very smart types, his best form is clearly good enough here and with Tyler Schiller giving Flying Trapeze a 1.5kg allowance to boot, we think from barrier two he looks very hard to beat in the opener. Best Bet Race 1 – #2 Flying Trapeze (2) 2yo Colt | T: Gary Portelli | J: Tyler Schiller (a1.5)(58kg) $4.40 with Bet365 Next Best at Warwick Farm: Sunshine In Paris We look to the last for our next best of the afternoon with the Annabel Neasham-trained Sunshine In Paris. This three-year-old filly is in terrific form after a first-up win and a luckless second up effort at Doomben on December 3 and should really be looking for three wins on the trot. She got back out of her ground when beaten 0.6 lengths by Stroll and should’ve been right in the finish with any luck, but it never came until the race was over as the gaps opened up with 200m to go, Sunshine In Paris weaved between gallopers and was doing her best work going through the line, finishing ahead of all her rivals going 50m past the line. Alysha Collett rode her to victory in her first-up effort at Canberra so we’re happy to be siding with this daughter of Invader as the circumstance should be unfolding far better than last time out. From barrier-nine Collett should have plenty of options and look for some cover midfield before unleashing down the centre of the track in this suitable 1300m BM72 contest. Next Best Race 7 – #16 Sunshine In Paris (9) 3yo Filly | T: Annabel Neasham | J: Alysha Collett (54.5kg) $4 with Unibet Best Value at Warwick Farm: Baltic Coast The second leg of the quaddie looks a great chance for Baltic Coast to get a win on the board this preparation for the Kris Lees camp after two very strong performances. He’s third-up after running 2.5 lengths behind Hollywood North at Randwick (Kensington) on December 2 and should’ve been in the finish, however, he never got a chance when last around the turn on a very slow tempo mid-race, so he couldn’t show the same turn-of-foot he was able to produce first-up. Things should be much more suitable on Wednesday with a hot speed likely and apprentice Dylan Gibbons hopping back aboard from barrier-nine should be able to slot in somewhere toward the rear again, but this time up to the 1600m Baltic Coast should get every possible chance to get career win number three on the board. Best Value Race 5 – #2 Baltic Coast (9) 5yo Gelding | T: Kris Lees | J: Dylan Gibbons (a2) (59kg) $9 with Bet365 Wednesday quaddie tips for Warwick Farm races Warwick Farm quadrella selections Wednesday, December 21, 2022 1-2-6-9 1-2-4 6-10-13 5-14-16 Investment: $108 for 100% More horse racing tips View the full article
