Licence to Train Trainers will have a pool of $500 with $300 for the winner, $200 for the runner up. The points will be allocated as 5 points for a win, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd and 1 point for every starter that is unplaced. The bonus scheme has not been held in recent years so the three clubs felt it was time to reward the trainers for their loyalty which is such an important aspect of the success of this hugely popular summer holiday racing circuit.
