Ice Dancing (Frosted) swept down the lane at Santa Anita Park Sunday afternoon to collect 10 points on the trail to the Kentucky Oaks.

With the scratch of Justique (Justify), the remaining field of five were sent on their way as Bob Baffert's Parody (Distorted Humor) and stablemate Fast and Shiny (Bernardini) dueled early down the backstretch. The Ramona Bass filly, who garnered favoritism at 1-2, was content lay in wait at the back of the field, but rounding the far turn she began to take aim on the outside as Fast and Shiny attempted to get away.

Past the quarter pole as Satin Doll (Congrats) gave chase up the rail, Ice Dancing made a strong move and striding confidently she ran on nicely, winning by 3 1/4 lengths. Santin Doll was second, giving her 4 points to apply to the Kentucky Oaks leaderboard.

Ice Dancing broke her maiden last out at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Nov. 25 in wire-to-wire fashion. Prior to that, the gray debuted at was fourth in the GII Chandelier S. at Santa Anita. Final time for the seven-furlong test was 1:22.78.
