Rowed along with three furlongs remaining, the 5-2 chance came under increased urging inside the final quarter mile and kept on well for five cracks of Clifford Lee’s persuader in the closing stages to deny ‘TDN Rising Star’ Waldstern (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) by 1 1/4 lengths. The dark bay, who was third on the list of highest-priced offerings at Arqana’s May Breeze-Up sale, is the first winner from three runners out of MSW G2 Prix de Malleret runner-up Kaloura (Ire) (Sinndar {Ire}), herself a half-sister to MG1SW sire Kalanisi (Ire) (Doyoun {Ire}) and MG1SP G2 Scottish Derby hero Kalaman (Ire) (Desert Prince {Ire}).
