America's 2022 Eclipse Champion Sprinter ELITE POWER (Curlin–Broadway's Alibi, by Vindication) displayed no rust with Frankie Dettori in the irons, when running out an open-length victor of the 1200-metre $1.5-million G3 Riyadh Dirt Sprint S. Presented By Sports Boulevard in Saudi Arabia on Saturday. Racing off the pace through the early stages in midfield behind Justin (Jpn) (Orfevre {Jpn}), the Juddmonte colourbearer took charge with over 200 metres left to race and strolled home an easy winner for Hall of Famer Bill Mott. Fellow American runner Gunite (Gun Runner) took second for Steve Asmussen, with Remake (Jpn) (Lani) third.

It's @FrankieDettori! 🙌 – a retirement win in Riyadh.
