Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted March 14, 2023 Journalists Posted March 14, 2023 David Cassidy Memorial Legacy Group DCMLG will hold its sixth annual David Cassidy A Triple Crown Life Event: celebrating and defending Thoroughbred horse racing and supporting Thoroughbred aftercare Aug. 15 in Saratoga Springs, NY. Last year's event featured speakers: Richard Schosberg, Andy Belfiore, both of Take 2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program, trainer Larry Smith, Pat Stickney of Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, Rasi Harper of The Real Players Inside The Backstretch, Dr. Jerry Bilinski, horse breeder and horse owner and Medical Director at Columbia Greene Humane Society, Michael Wilson from Past The Wire, and author Eric Floyd. Many of those speakers are expected to return at the 2023 event, which will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's Triple Crown sweep, as well the life of Comorant. After the program, Joe's Boys, a capital region band, will be in concert. The event will support the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, Take 2 and Columbia Greene Humane Society.
